Tell us about yourself so that we can get to know you better.
I was born and raised in Portland, OR and my family was called the "VW Bug Family" because we all drove them. I love cats and like other people’s dogs. I left Portland for a number of years and got to live in sunny San Diego and then beautiful Whidbey Island while being a military wife and mom. When our daughter needed a bigger city due to being on the spectrum I moved back to Portland with her and my now ex continued his military career. I enjoy adventures small to big. That’s me indoor sky diving. My daughter is all grown up and it was time for me to rejoin the workforce and I got an associate degree.
What inspired you to do what you do professionally?
After finishing my college degree I worked for a remarkable acupuncturist that used tapping with her clients. While working for my boss I loved helping the office run smooth and take care of insurance billing so clients could get the care they needed. In 2015 the business was sold and shortly after I was laid off. I had connected with a tapping group and went on a few interviews and realized it was time for me to pursue helping clients directly by guiding and empowering them with EFT. My journey to get certified in EFT started shortly after that. My online business doors opened in September of 2016. Through my life I’d learned different life tips and techniques and I wanted to share those too. In 2017 it was suggested to me to change from tapping practitioner to Lifestyle Consultant. During this time I also published my first book, Joyful Life Living Weight Loss and just started creating my second one.
Tell us a story of how you made a difference in someone’s life.
While consulting with a client he wanted to create his own business for many years but couldn’t talk about it with others and tried different ideas over the years without success. Now he has talked to people about his new project, sent out questionnaires to many people and is creating a program to help others and has three employees working on it with him.
